Oct 25 & 26 2003

The games took place in the Glacier Snow and Ice Arena in Ft.Lauderdale. There were warning signs from the beginning that this was going to be tough on us, from the locker rooms being like saunas and the ice like a melting pond and of course let's not forget the three ringers they had brought in. The start of the first game was rough, the puck was hard to move around in the slush and we were not prepared for the rush on the net by such experienced players. After letting in three goals in the first period, we picked up our pace and played more down at their end and with the help of our defense, our goalie managed to only let in two more goals during the second and third periods. We lost 5-1. Disappointing, yes but, we did redeem ourselves in game two! We played our asses off! We scored first, only four minutes into the first period! They managed to tie it up and even score another goal, but we kept at them and almost scored again. This game was played hard by all and even though we lost 2-1 we all did a great job by playing as a team!! We'll get em' next time! GO MS.CONDUCT!!!
